At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe challenges and strategies for screening and surveillance in young women with breast cancer.
  • Compare the surgical options available to young women with breast cancer in terms of oncologic safety, long term outcomes, and patient-reported outcomes.
  • Explain specific challenges that should be addressed in young women with breast cancer.
Breast cancer incidence in women under age 40 continues to rise. This webinar will review treatment considerations for this population, as well as management of treatment toxicities, and psychosocial needs.
